The busy Spring ‘23 sales season has just started, and here at Chase Evans we are recording more house valuation calls, additional instructions and listings, and an increased number of investors/buyers reconnecting with our agents for the latest market updates. February '23 data from Chase Evans sales shows that year-on-year, the agreed sales increased 28%. 

According to Rightmove’s February ’23 report, the current property sales market is more settled. The monthly price change for London is down 0.1% compared to January 2023. Year on year price change for London is up 2.5 %. The average London house price of property listed on Right Move in February 2023 was £680.806.

A calmer market is just right for people who are prioritising their housing needs and require moving. Market certainty is likely to reintroduce many more potential buyers, including purchasers who have been delaying their plans in the last couple of years.
