Land Registry UK property data highlights for June '19

 

 

On average, the UK house prices have risen by 0.7% since May 2019, and there has been an annual price rise of 0.9%. Transaction data shows that the number of sales transactions is 16.5% lower compared with a year ago. Between May ’19 and June ’19, transactions decreased by 9.7%.

 

 

Land Registry data for England

 

In England, house prices have risen on average by 0.7% since May 2019. The annual price rise of 0.7% takes the average property value to £246,728.

 

  • the North East experienced the greatest monthly price rise, up by 1.7%

  • the South West saw the most significant monthly price fall, down by 0.4%

  • the East Midlands experienced the greatest annual price rise, up by 3.2%

  • London saw the largest annual price fall, down by 2.7%

 

Although on average, London house prices managed to rise by 0.7% since May 2019, the annual price fall down by 2.7%. Flats and maisonettes’ prices are the fastest falling at -4.3% since May 2019.The average London property value in June 2019 is £466,824.

The average price of a new build London property in June was £484.341, whilst the existing resold property for the same month was £468,699.
