Wardian is a new homes development on the Isle of Dogs, London E14, a joint project by two prominent and highly respected property brands: Eco World and Ballymore.

The two high-rise apartment towers (55 & 50 storeys) are part of the new Canary Wharf master plan and will complete in 2020/21 delivering approx. 766 homes including suites, one & two bedroom apartments and penthouses.

Wardian's design by the well-known Glen Howells architects is inspired by the modernist, simple and elegant, 20th century architecture as well as the work of Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward, the great explorer, botanist and inventor of the botanical glass container the ‘Wardian case’.  This early nineteen century invention allowed the safe way of transporting plants globally by boat and introducing species to new markets. While “ the contemporary renderings of its aesthetics are a defining feature of Wardian, the influence goes beyond the mere visible. The vision for Wardian is to take inspiration from his curiosity, his spirit of adventure and his sense of precision, and to create the most exciting new development in the British capital”.

Providing an inspiring, unique and reinvigorating experience, large glass cases filled with trees and plants are housed throughout the buildings' interior. The theme continues through to each apartment which features a private outdoor space, a substantial balcony cum garden.  For the sense of discovery, there is the rooftop Sky lounge which affords spectacular panoramic views of London.

Wardian offers luxury suites, one & two bedroom apartments and penthouses.
